On average a resident of Montrose drives 12,807 miles a year. On average a resident of the Grand Parkway drives 21,875 miles a year, which translates to 4.71 tons of greenhouse gas emissions a year for the Montrose household vs. 11.9 tons of green house gas emissions a year for the Grand Parkway household, according to the Center for Neighborhood Technology’s Housing + Transportation Affordability Index.
