The intent of transportation infrastructure investment is to provide citizens with access to jobs, shopping, arts and culture, and each other. This issue of TOMORROW Magazine examines the gap between this goal and the actual focus of most of our transportation investment on mobility - the ability to move quickly between two points. Accessibility is a frame of mind that puts people first.
The mission of TOMORROW magazine is to give citizens and decision-makers the information they need to make wise choices about Houston’s future. The magazine is published biannually and each issue focuses on a major theme of importance to the development of the region, including Access & Mobility, Flooding & Water, Food, and Health. TOMORROW Magazine is circulated free of charge to citizens and decision makers.
