UC Davis opens nation’s largest ‘zero net energy’ development

The University of California - Davis has opened a mixed use community that is the nation’s largest ‘zero net energy’ development, according to the CoStar Group.

Energy consumption on site has been reduced 50% through efficiency measures and community design and the remaining energy need is met with onsite solar power.
