Researchers worry State is diluting threat to Galveston

To some researchers, what’s happening to the sea level on the Texas Gulf Coast is a clear and present danger. But they worry the word is not getting out, or that the State of Texas is diluting it.

Some scientists say much of what is now Galveston Island could someday be under water. As Dave Fehling of KUHF News and NPR’s StateImpact Texas report, the potential crisis has some worrying that the city and state have ignored the threat.  MORE
