Public meetings for the 13-county Regional Plan for Sustainable Development will begin this month. A website for the project has been established by the Houston-Galveston Area Council, which is hosting the effort, funded by a Sustainable Communities grant of $3.75 million from the federal Housing and Urban Development department.
There are several ways to be engaged, including public meetings, Community Ambassador Teams, and through an online device for submitting ideas and voting on them. All opportunities are available at the Our Region website.
