Public meeting on TX transportation program

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will conduct a public meeting to solicit comments and input to the Fiscal Year 2011 May Revisions to the 2011-2014 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).

The STIP is a mechanism used by TxDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to fund projects for the next four years and includes all federally funded projects. The FY 2011 STIP amendment for May 2011 may be viewed online or at any TxDOT District Office prior to the meeting. Locations of these offices can be found online.

The public meeting will be held at the following time and location:

East Region Support Center
Wednesday, May 25, 2011
4-6 pm
TxDOT – Houston District Auditorium
7600 Washington Avenue
Houston, Texas 77007 (map)

The meeting will be informal and all interested citizens are invited to attend and express their views on the program.
