New plans could push Detroit to forefront of BRT in USA

Detroit has abandoned plans for a 9 mile light rail plan and will now pursue a 110 mile bus rapid transit (BRT) plan that would make Detroit the leader in the nation in BRT in terms of length of the lines, according to DC Streetsblog.
