Metro is holding a kick off meeting for its Vision Long Range Plan at its Administration building, located at 1900 Main Street, at 2 pm on Tuesday, May 3rd, according to an email from the transit agency.
The meeting will be open to the public and media and will offer the community an opportunity to look at a wide range of multi-modal options, such as improved bus, bus rapid transit, street cars, light rail, commuter rail, and other new innovative options to connect the region, added the email.
After Tuesday’s kick off meeting, Metro will host a serious of public workshops around the Houston area to discuss the future of transit in the region and work with communities to learn where service is needed and how the agency can modify or add to existing service, according to an event flier.
