Harris County Judge Ed Emmett, Travis County Commissioner Sarah Eckhardt, College Station Mayor Ben White, and Fort Worth City Councilmember Jungus Jordan participated in a high-speed rail panel at Megaregions & MetroProsperity: Sustainable Economics for the Texas Triangle on September 25. The two-day conference, which provided wide-ranging discussion about the major issues facing the Texas Triangle megaregion, was hosted by Houston Tomorrow and America 2050. The Texas Triangle includes Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and the areas in between.
