5 year Master Plan update

All Houstonians are encouraged to participate in the City of Houston Parks and Recreation Department’s survey to inform the update to the Parks Master Plan, according to their website:

Over the past 10 years it has been my pleasure to serve as the Director of the Houston Parks and Recreation Department. During this time input from park users has helped us make changes and improvements to our park system. Today we are involved in the development of a new Parks Master Plan.

It is fitting that as we approach 2016 and our 100th year as a park system we are involved in the development of a new Parks Master Plan. This plan serves to guide us in the development of our park system.

I personally would like to invite and encourage every Houstonian to take the Parks Master Plan survey and help us shape the future of Houston’s park system.

Joe Turner, Director, Houston Parks and Recreation Department.

You must determine your park sector number here before completing the survey. The survey is available in both English and Spanish.
