The City of Fort Worth continues to transform its streets to better accommodate bicycling with the transformation of bus lanes in downtown into bus / bike lanes, according to Forthworthology:
Another step forward for Fort Worth’s bicycle infrastructure network has occurred downtown – the old bus lanes running north-south through the heart of the district have been reconfigured into bicycle-bus lanes.
The rightmost lanes on Houston and Throckmorton, running roughly from 9th Street north to Weatherford Street, have gained all-new signage and paint to denote their upgrade. As seen above, signs along the route spell out that the lane is the exclusive domain of bicycles and buses (the occasional provision for right-turning cars remains at certain intersections, as before).
