Imperial Sugar Land is site of the newest Houston-area location for a farmers market that will showcase locally made foods, crafts, and specialty items, according to a story in the Examiner:
Every Saturday, October 1- December 10, the Farmers Market at Imperial will be open from 9 am - 1 pm, rain or shine. Each week will bring new offerings at the market including local family farmers, dairy operators, sauce makers and other fine foods. Purchase locally-grown, organic fruits and vegetables, pecans, pork, grass-fed beef, cheeses, balsamic vinegar, Texas-flavored olive oil, jarred sauces, spice blends, gourmet coffee, breads, pastries, soaps, and candles. The market will also feature vegan baked goods and even organic dog treats and cat toys. MORE
