All of the current major candidates for City of Houston Mayor in the November 2009 election appeared on stage together at an Urban Land Institute - Houston meeting open only to members.
KUT’s Rod Rice moderated the discussion and presented four questions prepared by ULI for the candidates on transit-oriented development, updating the City’s form-based code, tax abatement and other incentives that could be used to encourage transit-oriented development, and the relative importance of infrastructure, workforce housing, and sustainability.
