Ray Chong will no longer serve as Deputy Director of Public Works for Traffic and Transportation at the City of Houston, although he was introduced Tuesday at a Greater Houston Partnership Transit Planning committee meeting as the Deputy, and as a “visionary” by Committee chair Sam Lott, of Kimley-Horn.
Chong’s position is listed as “Vacant” on the City website, and his name no longer appears there. He has led the City’s efforts to rethink mobility solutions, including the City Mobility Plan that he discussed at the meeting.
