The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will build a solar powered commuter rail station near Fenway Park, according to the Boston Globe and a press release from the State of Massachusetts.

The $13.5 million project includes a solar array that will make the station a net-zero energy transit station, and is part of a $450 million redevelopment of the Fenway area.
