George Greanias, President and CEO of Metro, discussed the components of a great city and encouraged input from the audience to help formulate and craft Metro’s long range transit plan during a May 25th Livable Houston Initiative event co-hosted by Houston Tomorrow and the Houston-Galveston Area Council.

Houston Tomorrow and the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) have co-hosted monthly lunch meetings to discuss a wide variety of urban issues since November 1999.

Livable Houston Initiative meetings take place on the fourth Wednesday of every month from noon to 1:30 pm and are free and open to the public.

Meetings are held at the H-GAC Building’s 2nd floor Conference Room C (map).
