Finals days: join the grassroots transit campaign

Vote AGAINST Metro referendum

You should vote against the Metro Referendum on November 6, 2012.  Houston Tomorrow and Citizens’ Transportation Coalition are leading a grassroots effort to get the message out to pro-transit people all across the Metro service area that there is a better transit future possible than the bad deal being offered to the region.

SupportHoustonTransit.org will be the main web page for this effort, with analysis of the possibilities, arguments and talking points, and the ways you can get involved.

Right now, we are still working on raising the efficient $10,000 budget that we believe is the right amount to run a real grassroots campaign.  We have over $6,000 and you can help us spread this movement by donating today.

Please consider throwing a Pro-Transit House Party some time between now and election day.  You can sign up here.  You bring together your friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors, and we will bring materials, actions, and transit experts to the party.

We are now hiring a full time campaign manager, a full time PR / social media / engagement manager, a full time researcher (gis required), and several part time campaign staffers.  Contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) if you are interested.
