This will be the second of two Livable Centers Program community workshops, according to an event flier:
The Livable Centers Program promotes walkable, commercial/residential places that provide transportation options, improve environmental quality, and promote economic development.
Workshop 1, held on January 13, 2010, focused on identifying issues and opportunities, along with a presentation and discussion of the Draft Alternative concept.
Workshop 2 will present the Draft Livable Centers Study focusing on proposed land uses, development opportunities, connections, parks, public spaces, major streetscape improvement concepts and implementation strategies.
