Do you have an opinion about public transportation needs?
The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) has conducted the Regional Transit Framework Study (RTFS) over the past year to identify long range regional transit needs and future transit opportunities for the region. It is envisioned the RTFS study will define a framework or blueprint for developing a regional transit system appropriate for the community.
The public is invited to attend a project open house meeting to review analysis of four (4) regional transit scenarios that have been developed to provide the Houston-Galveston area with alternative concepts for addressing the region’s transit needs in 2040. These four scenarios have been derived through a community outreach process that included focus groups, telephone surveys, community presentations, and formal public meetings and workshops.
The meeting will be held at the following location from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the following location:

The meeting will include informative exhibits, a presentation, and informal conversations with the study team. There will be an open house from 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM; a short presentation beginning at 6:00 PM; and the open house will continue until the meeting concludes at 7:00 PM.
In addition to the Open House Meeting, two webinars will be available to offer an alterative format for learning about the four regional transit scenarios.The webinars will be held from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm on the following dates:
