Event Details — Public meeting: 2040 Regional Aviation System Plan Update
The Houston–Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is sponsoring an update of the Houston-Galveston Regional Aviation System Plan (RASP). The RASP is the framework for integrated planning and development of the 13-county Houston-Galveston region’s general aviation airports through 2040. The RASP study team has completed an inventory of the region’s 28 general aviation airports and interviewed stakeholders in the communities where the airports are located.
The public is invited to a series of public meetings for citizens to discuss issues and goals for the regional airport system. The meetings will be open house format, with informative exhibits and informal conversations with the study team. There will be no formal presentation.
Following the Houston meeting on September 15, there will be a
September 16 meeting in Sugar Land, and a
September 17 meeting in Conroe.
Public comments are welcome and may be submitted either at the meeting, to publiccomments@h-gac.com, or faxed to 713.993.4508. Submits comments by Monday, October 12, 2009.
