On Thursday, April 8, at 1 pm in Rice University’s Duncan Hall #1070, Christoph Ebell, Science Attaché at the Embassy of Switzerland in Washington D.C., will present “On Track to the Future”, a public lecture to discuss how Switzerland tackled transportation challenges and how the Swiss example could be an inspiration for the USA.

An event website notes that the talk will coincide with a week-long exhibit on Swiss public transportation, also to be held at Rice University, and includes the following details:

After the successful “Sustainable Transportation Forum” in Atlanta the “On Track to the Future” exhibit visits Houston. It presents the highly developed Swiss transportation system, which is considered one of the best in the world.

Christoph Ebell, Science Attaché at the Embassy of Switzerland in Washington D.C. will open the event with a lecture on how Switzerland tackled the transportation challenges and how the Swiss example could be an inspiration for the USA. The exhibit will be displayed for a week at Rice University for visitors to explore Swiss public transportation.
