As Houston prepares for a vast new light rail transit system, civic leaders are struggling with new standards for 67 pedestrian- and transit-oriented neighborhoods.
Jim Charlier, a nationally recognized transportation planner and president of the multimodal transportation planning firm Charlier Associates in Boulder, CO, will address the design and mechanics of high-quality, complete streets that serve all users, especially people walking.
