Event Details — Houston Area Table panel on Inter-governmental collaboration

Houston Area Table is hosting “Putting the Pieces in Place: City, County, and Regional Collaboration in 2010” on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.

The event will take place at the United Way at 50 Waugh, Houston TX, 77007 (map).

Networking will begin at 11:30 and discussion will begin promptly at noon.

The event will be moderated by Houston Tomorrow’s Jay Blazek Crossley and include the following panel:
- The Honorable Chris Bell, Chair, Mayor Parker’s Inter-governmental Relations Transition Committee, City of Houston;
- Nancy Powell, Economic Development Director, Harris County
- Alan Clark, Director, Metropolitan Planning Organization, Houston-Galvestion Area Council;
- Laurie Glaze, Executive Director, One Voice Texas

to discuss: Health and Human Services, Crime and Public Safety, Transportation, Regional Development
Followed by a group Q & A
