Planners’ Revolution invites you to the first Hot Night on Holman. The evening features a movie based on a sustainable theme, vegan comfort food, organic wine, art and live music. The first movie is “Radiant City,” a film released in 2006 at the Toronto Film Festival by the National Film Board of Canada about suburban sprawl and a fictional family that lives in the suburbs. The family discusses life in the suburbs and the various flaws and advantages of suburban life, with a considerably greater emphasis on the flaws.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Movie begins at 6:45 p.m. with live music following at 8 p.m. Cost is $3 for individuals and $5 for couples, which includes free cocktails. The Vegan Comfort cafe is open from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Bike parking is available on Holman, and free auto parking is located behind the Midtown Arts Center.
