The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Transportation Policy Council (TPC) will meet on Friday, July 24 at 9:30 am. Among other agenda items, TPC is expected to vote on approval of the 2010-2011 Unified Planning Work Program, which details all federally-funded planning activities in the eight-county Houston-Galveston region over the next two years. The meeting is open to all interested persons.
The TPC provides policy guidance and overall coordination of the transportation planning activities within the region. The TPC consists of 24 members representing cities and counties, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) and three at-large members appointed by the H-GAC Board of Directors.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, H-GAC will provide for reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities attending H-GAC functions. Requests should be received 24 hours prior to the function. Call 713.993.4577 to make arrangements.
