The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) will meet on Wednesday, June 17 at 9:30 am. Among other agenda items, the TAC is expected to vote on the draft 2010-2011 Unified Planning Work Program, which details all federally-funded planning activities in the eight-county Houston-Galveston region over the next two years. The meeting is open to all interested persons.
The TAC reviews and evaluates H-GAC’s regional transportation plans and provides its recommendations to the Transportation Policy Council (TPC). The TAC is an appointed body, which is comprised of representatives of member governments and special citizen interest groups with expertise in transportation planning. TAC members are appointed by the TPC to assist with the coordination of the Transportation Improvement Program, Metropolitan Transportation Plan and other transportation planning activities.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, H-GAC will provide for reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities attending H-GAC functions. Requests should be received 24 hours prior to the function. Call 713.993.4577 to make arrangements.
