Event Details — H-GAC Technical Advisory Committee meeting

The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) will meet on Wednesday, February 18 at 9:30 am. The TAC will elect officers for 2009, receive an update on the recovery bill that was approved by Congress on February 13, and discuss the Regional Aviation System Plan. The meeting is open to all interested persons.

The TAC reviews and evaluates H-GAC’s regional transportation plans and provides its recommendations to the Transportation Policy Council (TPC). The TAC is an appointed body, which is comprised of representatives of member governments and special citizen interest groups with expertise in transportation planning. TAC members are appointed by the TPC to assist with the coordination of the Transportation Improvement Program, Metropolitan Transportation Plan and other transportation planning activities.
