Event Details — Future of Houston’s Children Conference
Children at Risk will host the
Future of Houston's Children Conference, an event which they describe as "an exploration of trends, emerging issues and innovations impacting the long-term future of Houston."
Conference topics will include health, education, nature, and transportation as they pertain to the well-being of our children.
Speakers at the conference will include Dr. Peter Bishop, Associate Professor of Stategic Foresight at the University of Houston, David Crossley,
President and Founder of Houston Tomorrow, and Dr. Stephen Klineberg, Professor of Sociology at Rice University.
The conference will also feature hands-on activities like a Future Predictions Workshop, and there will be breakout groups and networking opportunities.
Registration begins at 8:00 am and is $30, but there is also the opportunity to make a donation online, added to the cost of registration. Register by clicking
