The Houston-Galveston Area Council, along with the Coordinating Committee of local governments, non-profit agencies and educational and research organizations, are hosting community training opportunities across the region. These workshops will offer participants the chance to learn about widening the base that their organizations reach and how to effectively communicate and engage participations. Participants will also learn about free and interactive tools to help with their communication and engagement efforts.

Community Ambassador Teams
CAT members are part of the process in three ways:
• help to develop information networks to get out the word
• become facilitators to gather input in your community
• help put the plan in action
If you are interested in becoming part of the CAT team please let us know by emailing us at ourregion@h-gac.com and our team will help give you the tools you need.
