Colorado Valley Transit District
Sub-Regional Transit Service Planning & Coordination Study
The Houston-Galveston Area Council is conducting a public comment period and will host a public meeting for the Colorado Valley Transit District Sub-Regional Service Planning & Coordination Study. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the existing Colorado Valley Transit District services and recommend adjustments that will better serve the growing public transportation needs of Austin, Colorado, Waller, and Wharton counties.
The public comment period will begin on Thursday, May 26, 2011 and end on Thursday, June 30, 2011. A public meeting will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Way, Waller Center, 531 FM 359 S., Brookshire, TX 77423. There will be an opportunity for review and comment on the recommended service changes as outlined in the study. Printed copies of the study documents will be made available upon request.
