An invitation to a charrette for the innovation territory 093-066 (the site of the Sharpstown Shopping Center).
This will take place on Friday, June 25th from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the AIA Houston.
June 19, 2010—Preliminary information will be emailed to your firm.
June 25, 2010—5:30 pm until 9:30 pm
A one hour informational presentation will take place that will be followed by the charrette.The material you develop from the charrette must result in a proposition for the innovation territory 093-066.
This will be reviewed by a jury consisting of an architect, a developer, a city finance expert, the head of real estate for a big box retail establishment, a lawyer with a specializaion in real estate law and urban planning and a business leader from Sharpstown.
July 5, 2010—Electronic document must be submitted to the jury for review via email.
July 7, 2010— One presentation board, 30 inches by 48 inches for display delivered to the AIA, 315 Capitol.
July 9, 2010—5:30 pm until 9:30 pm
Five minute presentation of each proposal to the jury and attending public followed by the award presentation and closing event.Thank you for your consideration of innovation territory 093-066.
