Central Houston, Inc.‘s 27th annual meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, from 11:30am to 1:30pm, at the Lanier Grand Ballroom, Hilton Americas-Houston (map), according to Central Houston:
Keynote speaker Christopher B. Leinberger will speak to the social, environmental, and business realities of real estate development in urban areas as it relates to Houston. Mr. Leinberger is a noted land use strategist, developer, educator, award-winning author and Brookings Institution Visiting Fellow. His most recent book is The Option of Urbanism, Investing in a New American Dream published in 2008 by Island Press.
Central Houston is also asking people to participate in a brief online survey on downtown Houston, the results of which will be used by Leinberger at the luncheon.
