Be a part of this fun event! It’s open to individuals, families, groups, & businesses interested in planting 25,000 trees to add to Houston’s forest canopy, while providing for cleaner air, shade, and a more beautiful landscape for tommorrow! This year we will be planting on 40 esplanades along Wallisville Road from 610 to Maxey Road & at the 610 /I-10 Interchange.
In addition, you are invited to join us for food, fellowship & live music at our 25th Anniversary Celebration Party at Hermann Brown Park immediately following the planting event.
Special Notes:
PRE-REGISTRATION is required to participate in this event.All INDIVIDUALS must follow this system’s registration process, and you’re all set!
All GROUPS (10 or more individuals) must immediately contact oneika.mccarthy@houstontx.gov to receive further registration instructions.
Please arrive at 7:00 am to allow enough time to park, register, and be shuttled to your planting location. Tree planting will begin at 8:00 am sharp!
Please wear closed toed shoes and work clothes- you will get dirty!
We would also suggest that you bring work gloves, bug spray and sunscreen.
Children are allowed as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
No pets are allowed.
